Problem with Zombies today in Hollywood is in that the better you kill them the more they live. If there is movie about killing some green monster-like creatures celebrating success at box office it is absolutely reasonable to expect its sequel to appear next year. After World World Z proved Brad Pitt's status of Hollywood's financial good luck guarantee, producers are ready to start next movie transforming project into series. And Zombie invasion will strike again. Once the same story had already happened with Resident Evil starring Milla Jovovich.
Resident Evil is considered to be the most successful video game adoptation. Its principal star Milla Jovovich portrayed more action women characters than anybody else. Even Angelina Jolie, who could not help Lara Croft to become biggest video game success in movie, has count of less pro world savers than this actress with ukrainian-yugoslavian roots. When in 2002 first movie saw its BO over $100m it set plans for next chapters. In average every film collected a bit more than $182m multiplying its budget (in average) in 3,5 times. Total box office of all films marks estimation of $914m. If there will be next movie, series should be able easily overcome line of billion dollar. But that is the major question will there be another adventure for Alice? Is Milla Jovovich tired of zombie killing or not? And will be exceptional success of two recent chapters to move Hollywood machine for one more time? Or may be Resident Evil is ready to leave stage for sake of World War Z. Money do not decide absolutely everything even in Hollywood. That is why all we can is wait for another day - another movie.
