Fifth Estate: Do They Have Power?

New british biopic Fifth Estate featuring Benedict Cumberbatch will be released this september at Toronto Film Festival. Movie is one of the most anticipated in next monthes. Its core is a story of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange which is quite enough to earn some serious attention. But also interest to the theme is heated up by recent news of another 'human rights hero / betrayer of his country' Edward Snowden.

If movie will be successful it may set running international cinema machine for creation film version for Edward Snowden's story. May be it even will be sequel of Fifth Estate. But it is question will be producers be able to tell the true or believable story which will be against official views of some state organisation. After reading screenplay of the film Assange claimed that its plot is lie built upon lie and it is hostile work. Will Edward Snowden also be dissapointed about text if it will be written? Now media tells so much of true and myth stories about two that you can not be sure what is real and what is not. Snowden now follows the same path as Assange walked through becoming more and more fictional character of the story where the true is fable agreed upon. And what did Snowden told us we did not know? And what Assange revealed which hurt national interests of the most defended nation? We still do not certainly know what games are played behind this stories. So may be it is why that is so interesting to see what is the version of movie industry.
