Oscar Winners judge at Cannes 2013.

Jury of Cannes Film Festival 2013 owns in total 10 oscars which is unprecedented case in history of the event.

Nicole Kidman won one Oscar award for her performance as Virginia Woolf in Hours (2002) movie. Heavy make up allowed her to look different and create more recognizable image of famous writer. To that moment actress was already celebrity and Academy award only added to her glory.
Two Oscars were won by Christoph Waltz for his support roles in Quentin Tarantino movies. Waltz (thanks to Tarantino) became biggest European revelations (may be alongside with Noomi Rapace) in recent time. He won his awards for parts in Inglorious Bastards an Django Unchained performing in many famous movies in between.
Ang Lee is one who wins when it is not so expected. He did it for three times, winning for Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon, Brokenback Mountain and Life of Pi.
And finally chief of a jury is Steven Spielberg who won twice for Schindler's List (as director and producer), one more for saving Private Ryan and one Irving Thalberg award.
