James Bond to fight for 5 Oscars at Sunday Night

Skyfall is not only most financially successful movie of 007 series, but also is most awarded one. At the night at Dolby Theater it may add more of prizes to the list.

Movie had already won Golden globe and two BAFTA awards. Previously 007 series were not so succesfull, There was something, of course, but not to much. For example, Ursula Andress won break-through of the year Golden Globe award for her performance in very first 007 movie, Dr. No of 1962.

Bond celebrated his 50 anniversary with movie better than usual, directed by one of the best filmmakers of Hollywood - Sam Mendes (last rumours tell that he is close to signing a contract for next bond movie). As a result there is five Academy Award nominations. Some may say they are only technical, and four out of five are for music or sound, but on another side they just are Oscar nominations. And that matters.

After winning BAFTA and Golden Globe awards, movie has a biggest chance to win Oscar for Best Song.
